Calling all dance pros, amateurs, dance families, and superfans…the official National Dance Day routine has dropped, and we're assigning you (fun!) weekend homework to learn it. Ariana Grande's resident choreographers, brothers Brian and Scott Nicholson, lead this year's routine, which is set to Zedd and Grande's "Break Free."

National Dance Day, established in 2010 by American Dance Movement co-founder, Nigel Lythgoe, is next Saturday, September 18, and we can't wait to celebrate the danciest day of the year. Both Washington D.C.'s Kennedy Center and Los Angeles, CA's Sergerstrom Center are partnering with ADM for a day of dancetastic activities that are open to all.
For now, enlist some castmates and learn the combo, then make it your own on-camera (ADM's got some inspiration for you) and tag @dancespiritmagazine on Instagram and Tiktok. We'll be reposting some of our favorite videos after NDD. Happy Dancing!
